The coasts of Northern Europe are often described as rocky and inaccessible. Rocky thay are for sure, but not inaccessible, at least not for birds. The steep cliffs of the Northern shores are the perfect nesting grounds for various sea birds.

We brought a small part of those cliffs into Niörd Seafari. Some of the typical northern sea birds found here a home. A few of these birds even came to Niörd after being taken by poachers from the wild and rescued by bird shelters.

Let yourself be amazed by the beautiful colors of the puffins and the elegant dives into the pools of the eiders.

But above all, prepare to be deafened by the immense noise these little birds make.
